A Pair of Rare and Large Chinese Celadon Glazed Bowls

Yongzheng mark and of the period (1722-1735)

清雍正 粉青凸花如意紋大碗一對
each deeply potted with a slightly everted foot rising to a gently flaring rim, the exterior molded with a band of ruyi-heads enclosing smaller lappets issuing from a band of flower petals, covered overall in a thick and soft celadon glaze, the base with an underglaze-blue six-character Yongzheng mark.

Condition
The first bowl in good condition with minor surface scratches and wear consistent with the age. The second bowl with large restoration where a 'U' shaped section has come off and the reattached. Area of reattached loss measures about 11 inches in total length. There is an associated small triangular loss that has been reattached, a 4 inch hairline crack and a 1/8 inch hairline crack. The areas of losses have been reattached but the glue has started to yellow. Areas where pieces have been reattached are also uneven. There is a yellowed scratch mark to the interior and some areas of pitting to the interior. The damaged bowl also has the rim slightly ground down.
